Our Game Of the Season

This class was hard at the beginning of the year. There was all kinds of stuff that I didn't know what to do. But once we got into the game, it got easier to do. The coding was way better then what it was a the beginning of the year. I also learned how to right a blog, and a bunch of other stuff. I am also a lot better at graphics since it started this year.

I went to a Weezer concert Sunday, and it was awesome. The concert was in Pittsburgh, and we did a lot of other stuff.   There was a mosh pit and crowd surfing; there were also some drunk people. There was one person that threw-up before the concert even started.  There were all kinds of places to shop. There was a 11 floor Macy there, it was pretty cool. I also stayed in the oldest hotel in the United states, the Omni William Penn Hotel. I also went to the Pittsburgh Zoo, it was awesome, there was a monkey with one arm. There was also a polar bear that jumped in the water a couple of times. I also went to IKEA which is a big store that sells home supply. It was awesome, I hope to go to Pittsburgh again.

What's Happened So Far This Week

We got one scene done this week. I can't seem to get a coding for a thing to hit another thing and then make it go to the next scene. I need help get it and I would like by the end of next week.

The NBA Finals

Yesterday was a big day. The Bulls where about to win there second game in the playoffs, but the Heat made a 18-3 jump to win the game by three points. The game is going to be The Miami Heat vs. the Dallas Mavericks, to see who will be crowned champions.

First Round Draft Picks

The draft was very interesting this year. There was a lot of good players that went. The Steelers drafted Cameron Heywood from Ohio State University. He seems to be good, but I never seen him play.

Madden 12 Cover

There was a big battle for the madden cover. There was a lot of good people for it. I thought that Arron Rogers should have one it. At the top of the page it the list of people that were in it. Payton Hillis ending up winning it. He was good this year, but I thought that there were better people, like Arron Foster.

Our Game

We didn't get that far on our game this week. We couldn't figure out how to move to the next scene when you hit the box on our game. If you don't count that, then our game is going good. I hope that we will find the coding next week, so can get our game finished.

Playoffs

The playoffs are not turning out how I thought they would. I thought that the Celtics and Lackers were going to be in it, but they're not in it.Instead, its the Heat vs. the Bulls, and the Mavericks vs. the Thunder. Labron James is leading the Heat, Darrick Rose is leading the Bulls, Dirk Nowitzki is leading the Mavericks, and Kevin Durant is leading the Thunder.    

The Game is Going Good

We only got one scene finished but it was good that we got it done. It was our first playable scene. The monkey follows the human, and you have to find a creat and when you find it, you move on to the next scene. So you can say we didn't do much, but since we got the coding all figured out, we can do a lot more things.

Weezer is one of my favorite bands. I get to go see them on May 29, in Pittsburgh. I am going with one of my friends. We are also going to the zoo to see a bunch of animals. We are going on a Saturday, so I will not miss any school.

Our Game is Going Good

Our game is going really good, we have a bunch of scenes done. the only thing is that my partner hasn't really helped. We have to fix our instruction scene because we put just how to play, not what you have to.

Our Poor Kitty

Our cat got attacked by our dog, the dog got a hold on the cat from the bottom of the head to the top. It was really sad, the right eye had to be removed, and when we got to the animal hospital, they said that she also has a broken jaw. She is now home resting, they say she is going to be oak, but I'm still scared that something will happen.

Starting Over

Today was the second day of starting our final game. I finally figured out  how to get mouse control to work. So far we got our first game scene done except the play button done. We will do really good on our game, I think.

The 2011 Draft

The NFL Draft is coming up on Thursday. There are a lot of people that teams can choose from, There are many QU, WR, HB, and a bunch of defense players

50th

Yesterday was the 50th anniversary for a human to land on the moon. I think Russia was on the moon first, but the U.S.A. can really close to being first. Technology as changed since then, now we have robots on different planets. There is one on Mars that asks like a human, its really cool.

Help me think of a blog

I can't think of any blogs. I need your help. I now that there are a lot of topics to pick from, but I just can't think of one. I have already got my blog for my game done so, try to think of some blogs for me to do, and I will give you credit.

Sound Was a Problem...

Sound was hard at first, I could get the sound on there but when I did, my buttons stopped working. I finally got them to work today; I just had to make the layer for my button longer, then it started to work. The sound is a monkey, because we have a monkey on one of the scenes, so when you hit the button, it makes a monkey noise. Now we just have to get Add Keyboard II to work, but now, me and my partner, Jordan, get to go to the Robotics Competition in Bridgemont.

Finally

Our class has finally found out how to make a button back. We got ours gone, but it took a while. We had to take out all the coding. I finished animation, and know our military guy moves. I also got keyboard control to work, and I put a monkey as it, so you can now move the monkey around the screen.

Final Four Outcome

The championship game was sad for me because Butler has lost the national game twice now. Both teams put up a good fight, but Uconn pulled away in the second half. The worst part was that Butler had two points in the paint, and Uconn had over 20. Another thing, is that Butler only shoot 18.8 percent, and thats the lowest percentage of shooting in national game ever. It will be a while before Butler  can go to the national game again, but I think they will make it.

The Road to the Final Four

The Final Four was crazy. Butler beat VCU by eight, and Uconn beat Kentucky by one. The Butler vs. VCU was a good game, it came down till the end, but Butler pulled away from them, and they got the win. The Uconn vs. Kentucky was a good game also, the only bad thing that happened was that Kentucky was shooting 33 percent, and that's not good for team when you are trying to get a national championship game. Know it will be Butler vs. Uconn, I hope Butler wins it because they lost last year to Duke, and also, they are the underdogs.

Our Game is Not Going Well

Our game is not working out the way we wanted it to. One thing is, that the whole class hasn't got their back button to work. Another is that me and my partner have so much to do, that we can't decide which one we are going to first. My partner and I just finished getting our next buttons all to work. Know we have to and tween to our game, and a bunch of other stuff. I hope who every reads this is not having the same problems as us. If you have any tips of suggestions, please tell me.

Final Four

NCAA basketball is down to the Final Four. The four teams that are playing are,Uconn, VCU, Butler, and Kentucky. Kentucky had to go through a lot of good teams to get to where they are know. Kentucky had to beat WVU, OSU, and then NCU, which are all hard games to play. Kentucky's star player is Bradon Knight, who has been there for the team is whole year, with out him, I don't think Kentucky would be in the Final Four. Butler was in the Final Four last year, and they lost to Duke in the championship game. I have never herd of VCU, but they must be good, or they would not be in the Final Four, and also beat one of the best teams, which is Kansas. Uconn is very good, and the good thing is that they are in the Big East, ans that's West Virginia's conference is.

The Big Rivalry

Today at 9:45 p.m., OSU is playing UK. It is going to be one of the best games out of the Sweet 16. They are both good teams. I like UK better but I think that OSU is better than them.

Flash

Flash is hard, there all kinds of stuff that are difficult. You have to put coding in to move things. You gave draw and drawing is hard on the computer. Also, there are a bunch flashes and they all get confusing. There also a bunch of different tools and I get confused on there.

Keyboard Control 1

My partner and I are finishing up Adding Animation, what we did for it was, we made a big guy moving through the jungle. We know how to do it, its just that we do not have enough time to do it, because we have moved on and we can't work on it in class, and my partner can't come in any this week. We have only learned about Keyboard Control 1, so we have to work on it some more, and I think that we will do better with it the best.

Japan

Japan is in a very bad situation, they had a 9.0 earthquake, and a 30 ft. tsunami. They have had three explosions  from nuclear factories, and if stuff like that keeps on happening, Japan will have a meltdown. Over 10,000 people have died, and they say that's not even close to how many people have really died. There was one island that got hit by the tsunami, that they couldn't find one person on that island, they couldn't even find a corps.  

Poor Marshall

Yesterday, Marshall lost to U-tep for their confrence tounament game. They started out bad but they came back but they were getting beating to bad to pull their score back up.Their season is still not over, they still have the N.I.T. to play. They will always have next year to play and they have a good team.

The Start of Adding a Button

I learned to make a button this week, I just don't know what to do when I add it to flash. My friend, Cole, is helping me with the coding and I still can't figure it out. I need to figure out how to do it so I can do it faster and also learn for later.

Marshall's Basketball Teams

Marshall has had a good season this year. Sat. is the last game of the regular season, and they are playing UCF, and they already lost to them but it was a close game and it was away. Their next game is in Texas for the tournament for the C-USA. They have to U-Tep to move on to the next round and they lost against of them yesterday.

Adding a Button

Me and my partner just finished adding a scene and we are starting adding buttons. My partner already knew how to make a button, but I didn't, so I had to learn. Making a button is easy, the first time I did it, I got it right, and it was pretty cool.

Finishing Adding a Scene

Our game is taking time, but we are getting it done. I am not going to school today because of my foot, but my partner knows what to do. We have only one scene, and it is the Primary Scene. Once we get that done, we just have to upload it to our wiki. After we finish that, we have to start on addng buttons. Our game seems like it is good so far, and I hope to keep it like that.

The New Nike Jersey

I can't believe that Nike is going to get to make the gear in 2012. Nike is going to get a lot of money for this. Reebok is going to go down in their franchise because that's one thing they do for their money. My favorite jersey is the Redskins jersey. they have this other one that has feather sticking out of the helmet. Almost Finshed

We are almost finished with adding a scene, but Jordan and I need to finish our drawing a scene. The drawing a scene looks to be easy, and we have already started on it, and we are pretty far on it. Our game is about the technology of the wars that has happened. In our game a person has to travel the world, and find parts for a weapon that they are going to use for a battle latter on in the future.

Tolerence

Last week we had a assembly that was about bulling. I thought it was cool because they showed a lot of the important stuff. One thing was that they went over the types of bulling and told about the stories of people killing themselves because they could not handle being bulled anymore. They also showed a couple of power points and a video one of the students made.

What To Do

Our game was hard at the beginning, but Ms. Dolan told us a lot of the stuff, and she also put up videos for us to watch. We were very confused as we went along to do our game. We were doing a lot of stuff wrong like we did not have any folders to put our scenes in so our game was all one jumbled mess.

Doc is the Best

For a couple of weeks in to the recruiting, Doc Holiday has had the best recruiting Marshall has ever had. The NCAA listed that he had the best recruiting that week. Out of their conference, (C-USA) they came in third, that was the first time they have ever done that. He got 29 players to come to Marshall. That shows that maybe within the next couple years, they can beat WVU. 

Better Luck Next Year.

The Steelers and the Packers played for the Super Bowl and the Packers won. The Packers are a really good team and if the Steelers had to lose, I'm glad it was to the Packers. The final  score is 31-25. The commercials for the Super Bowl, I think were the best out of all the Super bowls.

Cars!!!

 

The cars have changed  ever science the first one was invented. The first car ran on a steam power engin. Know we have a car that runs on electric, it can also run on gas if it had to go on long trips. There are also cars that run on water. These type of cars will help us in the future.

 

Pro Bowl!!!

 

Last weekend was the Pro Bowl, and the NFC killed  the AFC in that game. The final scoe was 55-35.

Xbox Kinect

The Xbox Kinect is realy fun, I should know because I have one. There is such a variety of games, there are fighting games, racing games, adventure games, and sport games. While you are playing, the Kinect takes pictures of you, and after you are done with that activity, it will show you the pictures. I also can hear my voice, and reconize it to.

The Super Bowl

 In two weeks their will be the biggest game of the year. The Steelers beat the Jets and the Packers beat the Bears. I want the Steelers to win but I think the Packers are the best.
